Well OKWAP have done it again! We think the A279 is OKWAP's best Kitty phone yet. Packed with features, and looking stunning in the usual pearled pink finish, its this years must have for the modern pink thinker.

A beautiful pearled Hello Kitty flip phone with Camera, MP3 player, FM Radio, USB drive and Wave Message generator, all in one small 85g package. Oh and did I mention the fully functional Pedometer?

The display is large and bright at 128x160 pixels and 65K colours, and as usual the phone is loaded with Kitty pictures to use as wallpaper.

You can also choose between 2 interchangeable pink and red covers that come with the phone. In addition there are a number of cute accessories including a very cool pink hard case to keep your beautiful phone safe from knocks and drops.

If you like music on the move the phone has a built-in FM Radio but more importantly can also play MP3 music files either through the supplied headphones (pink) which double as a “hands-free” headset, or through the built-in speaker.

Getting your music files onto the phone is easy too – the phone can work as a 100MB USB drive, so just drag the files into the My Music folder, restart the phone and you're ready to go.

Built-in camera has 300K pixels so is ideal for picture messaging and snap shots. It can also take video clips.

If you like ring tones, this phone can play MIDI files or MP3's as your own special ring tone.

Unique features to this phone are the Wave messaging feature and fully functional Pedometer. The wave messaging feature allows you to type a short message and then wave the phone back and forth in the air displaying your message in large letters to your friends. Very cool!

The built-in Pedometer is fully functional and even allows you to enter your weight and stride. It will calculate approximate fat and calorie burn including step count. You can also set your target steps.

If it takes your interest, there is also a Chinese/English translation dictionary which includes common phrases and acronyms to name a few.

The phone is sim free and not locked to any network, so simply put your existing sim card in the phone and switch on.
